As part of the Awakening: Motion project by Enough Pie, our architecture follies work as a means of showcasing the different mobility options in Charleston, SC.
At the heart of the follies project is the ADA picnic table. The drawings and pictures below are interpretations of this table that address the issues of non-car transportation in the City of Charleston. Our projects are billboards, easels, and canvases that can be tagged, painted and yarn bombed by local Charleston artists.
After the life of the project, instead of being discarded, the
follies will be reconfigured into actual usable tables that can be distributed to community groups and business sponsors around the city.

"AWAKENING: MOTION is about equality in mobility. Everyone — whether you take the bus, walk, ride a bike or drive a car — has the right to get from Point A to Point B safely, affordably and with dignity. AWAKENING: MOTION is co-produced by Enough Pie and Charleston Moves."
