BUS
bert nash
This project is based on the simple idea that collaboration is key when it comes to improving public transit in the Charleston area. Bringing multiple voices to the table to discuss needs is imperative. This particular folly represents the issue of bus transportation.
Deconstructed table tops are cut to represent a bus from the right angle. The folly also provides a space for local artists to interpret the problem by painting the surface created by the deconstructed table tops. After the life of the project is complete, the project can be disassembled and reassembled into three tables. The tables can be distributed into the city as a living history of the efforts to activate the low line space.
